Overview: NGS Error analysis and VAriant detection tooL
NGS-eval provides interactive inspection of errors along your NGS (mock) reference sequences.
You can:
Plot charts interactively to analyze the errors along a selected reference sequence.
Retrieve error reports, consensus sequences and files to plot the data offline in a program of your choice.
Hints for interactive analysis:
Zoom in: click and drag along x-axis. Double click to reset the zoom.
Select series to plot in "Plot series" and choose a data scaling option. The data is replotted and zooming is reset.
Toggle series on/off by clicking on its name in figure legend. Zoom is retained; only the line of the series is toggled on/off.
If Q-mean is present: relative and log-scaling are not applied to the Q-mean data.
The mean quality scores are plotted using the secondary y-axis (0-40) on the right-hand side of the plot.
The consensus and reference sequence are shown below the plot. Differences are shown in red in the consensus sequence.
Often, these are IUPAC ambiguity base characters, due to mismatch errors (see base codes).
Click on a data point in the plot to highlight corresponding position in the consensus sequence.
